The A3951 runs a 5.9" IPS panel in portrait orientation — 720×1280, tall and narrow — which is unlike anything else in the standard single DIN CarPlay segment. In portrait mode, Google Maps fills the full height of the display. Waze shows more of the road ahead. The on-screen keyboard is wider and more comfortable to use. It's a different experience to any horizontal head unit, and for a lot of drivers, a better one.
Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth 5.0, FM/RDS radio, steering wheel controls, and reverse camera input — all the essentials. The unit fits a standard single DIN opening and the portrait screen extends naturally above the dash cavity.
The honest trade-off: Bluetooth 5.0 rather than 5.2 — still stable and reliable, just not the very latest version. Everything else is solid.
