Change-of-Mind Returns for Eligible Online Purchases

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an eligible online purchase without reason within 7 days after receiving the goods. You are responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods. Any refund due under this right will be made within the period required by law.

Please contact us within the 7-day period and return the product promptly, securely packaged and complete with all supplied parts, accessories and packaging. The condition of returned goods will be assessed only to the extent permitted by law.

Made-to-Order and Personalised Products

The statutory cooling-off right does not apply where goods are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised, as provided by section 42 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. This exception does not remove your rights if goods are defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially different from their description.

Vehicle Fitment

You must provide accurate vehicle make, model, year, dashboard configuration and factory-feature information when requested. Year ranges are a guide because trim levels and wiring can differ. If you select or install a product contrary to accurate fitment information provided by us, any non-statutory exchange is subject to the product’s condition, availability and our approval, and reasonable return or redelivery costs may apply.

If we supply the wrong product after you gave us complete and accurate fitment information, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.

Defective, Unsafe or Incorrectly Supplied Goods

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply. Within 6 months after delivery, qualifying goods that fail to meet the Act’s quality standards may be returned at our risk and expense, and you may direct us to repair or replace them, or refund the price paid, as provided by section 56.

Blackbelt Audio also provides a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. During months 7–12, the remedy under this additional warranty may be repair or replacement after assessment, subject to applicable law and the warranty exclusions published on our Warranty page.

Installation and Exclusions

Installation does not remove statutory rights. However, damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect voltage, reversed polarity, misuse, liquid damage, unauthorised modification or other causes outside a manufacturing defect is not covered to the extent permitted by law.

How to Request a Return

Contact us by WhatsApp or email with your order number, vehicle details, the reason for the request and, for a fault claim, clear photos or a short video showing the issue. Do not return goods until return instructions have been provided.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply after the refund is submitted.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
